Heroine Addict
Heroine Addict is an adult text-based interactive fiction game in which the player takes on the role of a young mutant at the dawn of the superhero age, just after the Fantastic Four have returned from space - changed forever by cosmic rays.
Your power? You can draw small amounts of energy from others with a touch, barely enough to be noticed and having all the impact of a strong cup of coffee - or so you thought, until an early sexual experience awakened you to your gift's true potential.
Players take on the role of an eighteen-year-old senior at Midtown High, and may play a heterosexual male or homosexual female - this limitation is because they share the same pool of female love interests, though potential intimate scenes are written distinctly, and not all characters will be available for the same sorts of relationship.
This is not Earth 616 - it's a Marvel Universe where the age of heroes is kicking off in the 2020s.
Heroine Addict is a Twine game planned in a serial format, with new chapters appended to new releases. Your saves should work from release to release, though this cannot of course be guaranteed.
This is release 0.3.1 and consists of the first three episodes. Best played in fullscreen, or download and play the HTML file. Please feel free to report any typos or errors.

Just finished episode 3 a few times, it's been really fun so far! I hope we're able to fix the PC relationship with Cindy soon, really curious to see how this will play out.

Please let us choose to be female or shemale as well. The first time the story even mentioned gender was "Mr. _______". Even the first erotic scene didn't specify anything. This games seems more story focused with erotic stuff being sparse, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue to switch out terms every now and then.
I'll seriously consider it. It'll be a bit of extra effort but not terribly bad, so if you're reading these comments and agree with EponymousKay, speak up in support.
Note that it'd be significantly more work to include male love interests, so if players can select gender it'll be a choice between heterosexual males or lesbian females. That's exactly the kind of scope creep I've been trying to avoid. :D
That's fine and I figured that from the title but btw the handholding thing with Johnny was very homoerotic. After all, everyone knows handholding is incredibly lewd. ;)
Here to agree with EponymousKay as requested - I'd very much enjoy being able to play a woman.
There's a drop down menu when you meet Susan Storm - you can choose between "Mr." or "Miss" to select your gender. Up until that point the game is written to allow for either gender, and after that descriptions and dialog vary based on that selection.
